who am i?

Hi, I’m Rhys Harper and have been a personal trainer/performance coach since 2021. I shave 15+ years’ experience training in different gym spaces with varied training principles.

I am passionate about continued strength training for both performance and health. In 2024 I decided to start trail running and it is now the center of everything I do. This year I plan to tackle a 115km Ultra Trail Run while maintaining my strength. This is the perfect mix to call myself a hybrid athlete, but I really just enjoy challenging myself in various ways. Strength training and running will always be a part of my life as long as I can continue to train them.

I have been a strength coach for EC Fitness Training since 2023 and love the community. If you’re after in-person coaching EC is where your sessions will be held.

I’m studying Exercise and Sport Science part-time while trying to juggle many hours of training and family life. Continued education is important to me and I will always be looking to learn for myself and my clients.
